There are many fine hotels, motels and campgrounds located near the Texas Medical Center.There are many fine hotels located in the area near the Texas Medical Center .  The four closest ones are listed below.

These hotels may offer special discounts and extra amenities for the Texas Medical Center patients including free shuttle service to the hospitals and the surrounding area – usually in a two-mile radius.  Some hotels offer a special "Brachial Plexus Clinic Rate".  Entertainment Card and AAA card discounts are usually available if you make your reservations early, and for certain days. Some hotels offer additional discounts for on-line booking (which may be cheaper than the medical rate). Rates and discounts also change by season.

Transfers To and From Hobby & Intercontinental Airports

There is a standard zone/rate schedule for taxis.  This schedule is posted at the taxi stand at each airport and inside each taxi.  Please verbally confirm this rate with the taxi driver before you enter the vehicle.  If you need credit card payment availability, just tell the person in the taxi booth when you request your taxi. Some patients choose to use private Town Car drivers.  Their rates are comparable to the taxis and a current listing can be found at sites like www.limos.com.
